I wouldn't say Gaga is fully controlled tbh.
I mean yes, you have a label for a reason, to make the right decisions etc.
She's a businesswoman, otherwise she'd have her own label.
So in a way she is but out of all the mainstream pop artists she's the least controlled imo.

For those who're saying that Christina is more in control are also wrong.
Bionic was changed by RCA and Lotus was forced by RCA so... she only was really in control during Stripped and B2B.

None of the mainstream pop girls are fully in control cause they're major label artists.
But I'd say that Britney and Kesha are the most controlled these days, well Britney was at least during FF, hopefully that will change for her new era.

She never even wanted that type of album.
So it's easy to brag about the fact that she chose the three singles from FF herself when she probably was already bored by her own album when she had to choose them.
I'd say that a label changing your album is a bit worse than a label changing the order of your singles.

Weren't there also rumors about her feeling uncomfortable on the set of HIAM?

Also did you forgot about the whole 'Original Doll' album?

Besides that, how can anyone argue about Britneys freedom when she has a damn convatorship and the Blackout era when she was sick and FF ending up different
