Why are people saying adele CAN have a 100 million grossing tour if she WANTS? I mean, I can also say gaga can have a 25 million selling album if she wants. Not a big deal.

The delusion. That's why Adele's interview on NBC last year got more ratings than any other popstar special. That's why the Grammys got their highest ratings (say it was only because of Whitney all you want but everyone was talking about Adele's return prior to that and it would have gotten high ratings regardless), and also tell me why her US Vogue cover was one of the highest selling, or why the Oscars were out promoting her before anything else and why it had some of it's highest ratings as well?

Maybe you should tell the Grammys to stop putting Adele is the pop field too then since she isn't pop. Maybe people will actually stand a chance at winning then.

Rihanna, more than 150M records sold, more than 40M albums sold, selling out stadiums like they are theatres, 12 #1 singles just in the US, 8 songs in the most successful songs of all time list while Gaga only has 2, all this while Gaga had more promo in just one album than Rihanna in her last 4 albums put together. After ARTPOP Gaga has probably sold around 150-160 million, which is gonna make her one of the most successful artists of all time.

Tours and albums are different though.

Adele was in very high demand for her tour back in 2011. She could have easily sold out arenas but chose not to as she was afraid of crowds that big and even her team was pissed at her for it because the demand was very high (and likely still would be).
