I'd say Rihanna won 2011 over Gaga rather than 2010. TFM era was huge in 2010: the album, the tour, the singles, the videos, the VMA's. Everything seemed like an event. However, We Found Love knocked everything Gaga did in 2011 out of the park. It was the best (mainstream) dance song released that year and its video was better than all the BTW era vids.
Riri **** effortlessly on everyone with WFL, but followed after that was a complete mess. WFL will be more remembered than any song from BTW, but the era as a whole is still not comparable to BTW era.
