This era was cute I had high hopes

I actually think there will be an album this year simply because last year, if I remember correctly, rumours and actual album news only started to come out a few weeks before "Diamonds" was released so maybe the same will happen this year. Besides, "Unapologetic" may still have a few potential hits such as "Jump" or "What Now" but the treatment they gave to "Right Now" - no promo whatsoever - makes me think they just threw that super generic single out there as a simple airwaves fodder until the lead single from album 8 comes out in late September.

I don't know, just my two cents, but I would like a break too even though I stan for her and always want new music lmao. Let's see

I wonder if she'll put out another very Urban-leaning album like "Unapologetic" or if she'll go more Pop ala "Loud". I'd prefer the latter simply because pop is my cup of tea. Regardless, I'm sure the album will have Urban leaning tracks because she's been catering to that format with every era.

I think after two more Urban albums she will go back to Pop. Loud 2.0 is coming

True, however she had many sightings, rumours, and confirmations from writers and producers throughout the year of her spending time in the studio. Yet none whatsoever since the top of this year.
