I was going to say,
Femme Fatale delivered, for the most part. The last two albums just have shorter replay value, especially since FF was made for the current trends at the time (and in like 2 weeks). This album will live on for years, I have the belief.
Anyway, I know it will not happen but it'd be nice for Britney to do a VMA performance. I know GaGa, Katy are shoe-ins for it but I'm not concerned about them since Britney holds her own on radio, publicity plus their albums are not coming out on the same week.
It'd just be a nice kick off to the era, since she hasn't done it since "Gimme More".
VMAs are so whatever these past few years, truly the golden time for it was when Britney slayed it every year in one or another. But there won't be anymore major promotional opportunities this Fall, and the AMAs are lame and all the way in November.
But like I said, know it's a huge stretch and I'm ready for the press release in mid-September with the single premiere at the end of September and the video in October.
