Hello ATRLers and welcome to the "Show The Love" Club. In this thread we will create a place where positive energy lives and hopefully will spread. ATRL has been known for the posters filled with hatred and will drag their contending poster through hell and back using shadiness and direct insults. I hope this place sets apart from all the other threads in the site because I feel members are tired of all the negativity and hostility found in most posters. (Look at SYG for examples)
In this thread there will be no dragging, no shadiness, no kind of that nonsense. We will discuss things nicely and work things out if needed. If you feel you would like to post a confession or an apology, you can retreat here. If you're looking for some positive and supportive energy, you can retreat here. Even if you're just looking for a nice mature discussion, you can retreat here. Judgments are unwelcomed and will not be tolerated. Please spread the good word and show the love.
TOPIC BEING DISCUSSED NOW:
REJECTION
(thank you Kala for the revolving topic idea )
I think I will start. In ATRL I have recently found friendliness in some members and some not so much. There are so many nice people here on ATRL but we never had the chance to express it. We've always had people dragging each other and become such nasty and hateful people but here those don't exist.
I like Anna (borntodie) for being a great person to talk to. Her taste in music is refine
I like CrazyCat because he made me a banner for my P!nk Singles Rate when I didn't even ask for it and helps other people in the graphics department.
I like HausofCarlos, Georges & Lucky#17 for being from the same place as I am, I've always appreciated finding Lebanese people on this site.
I like Fingerprints for being such a hardcore Katy stan (eventhough I don't stan for her) because he's dedicated to her yet doesn't drag and is full of friendliness.
Everyone please share anything positive right here.
I personally feel that we should stop tearing others down via the internet. I understand jokes and such but sometimes things go too far. You can be funny without having to tear someone down or talk about their weaknesses or what you consider as such. I don't understand what people get out of it, like how would you feel if others did the same. I just think uplifting other people is a great thing rather than tearing them down.

Thank you. There's much more to life than always putting a negative aura around yourself.
Thank you for everyone who posted. A little tip to stay positive:
- Cut out the negative people and the ones make you feel bad. They're not worth the negativity
Yeah, I agree with that. I've found that once you separate all the negative people and even the negative thoughts/words in your mind and that you really do view things differently. It improves your life and your mood.
Oh, and to the OP, I think you should probably do like a topic of the day type of thing where we can share our opinions and views on it. For example, one day it could be bullying, the next insecurity and so on and so forth.

Okay guys, let's all share our stories about bullying. Have you experienced bullying? Have you ever bullied someone? What are your tips for a bullied person? Share anything related to the topic.
My story:
I remember 7th grade was almost hell for me because I was constantly bullied (verbally) by a group of 3 guys. It was horrible. I tried everything I could to get them to stop, ignoring, facing them, deliver comebacks. Never worked. The names and taunts still ring inside my head from time to time. I'm not going to say that I've been "scarred" but it made me really unable to take a joke sometimes. But I came out triumphant at the end, 2 of them dropped out and got stuck in the 7th grade for a second year while I went up for 8th grade. The taunting never ended really, but I've learnt to take control of it and deal with people like that.
