Gurl please. Apple pegs them as "Mac vs. PC" but you know they are OS X vs. Windows. That is the content... the software. AKA comparing Apple's software to Microsoft's software. Are these both not "actual products" to you?
I fail to recall very many of the "get a mac" ads that focus on things other than comparing the capabilities of OS X to the capabilities of Windows - EXACTLY the same thing that Microsoft is doing right now.
No of course they compare software but many of them also compare hardware.
And as I've said, the Mac vs. PC ads were actually creative and funny. These Surface vs. iPad ads are cheap and the comparisons don't make sense. The iPad has many keyboard covers. These ads fail to include that you have to pay ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS for the keyboard cover for the Surface... so $450... so $50 less than an iPad. Hmm. You can buy a USB dongle if you really need one. And the fact that they're using the Siri voice (yes it's a text to speech Windows thing too but it's recognized as Siri) is even more stupid because it puts Apple in the viewers head.
Tbh I would get the surface but I like the user friendliness of apples products so much. And I don't think their App Store is as good (?) it's not all about the hardware specs

The Surface RT's app store is practically non existent. There's no point in getting a Surface unless you get the Pro, which is still overpriced anyway.

They can make all of these little cheap ads that they want, but that doesn't change the fact that they lost $900 MILLION on top of the wasted $1.5 BILLION advertising budget for the Surface, and had to drop the prices
Only total of

$1.5 BILLION
I am sorry if I am offended you. However, I have to pointed out something that wrong.
The Apple users are so pressed, Microsoft actually makes valid points in these commercials. And they're funny.
And don't tell me you're sick of these commercials when:
The video is blank (you must be using a surface), but I'm assuming you posted the original Mac vs PC videos.
Yes: Apple originated this commercial. Yes: we're tired of it because Microsoft is just trying to drag Apple by jacking Apple's original commercial concept and switching it.
