! I'd be ecstatic if that were true. The English fan translation ROM is great, but I'd love to actually own it (and with official translation).
I honestly doubt Nintendo's going to work on a sequel any time soon (or ever), despite the fact that Mother 3 has a bit of a cult player-ship outside of Japan. I'm definitely intrigued by the fan game.
