Rihanna releases a new album every year, so obviously her brand new albums are going to sell more copies than a Gaga album from the previous year
If Gaga and Rihanna both released albums on January 1st every year, judging by their current sales per album, it's clear that Gaga will be the winner
And Gaga was the most talked about artist in the media last year and all she did was get fat, tour and release a perfume; meanwhile, Rihanna went through 2 eras in 2012, released a perfume, reunited with Fist on 3 songs, got back with Fist etc
