Today's overall radio update:
ROBIN THICKE Blurred Lines f/Pharrell & T.I: 248.647 (+1.532) it's slowing down
DAFT PUNK Get Lucky: 176.896 (-0.923)
IMAGINE DRAGONS Radioactive: 153.493 (+0.482)
MILEY CYRUS We Cant Stop: 48.628 (+0.544)
JAY Z Holy Grail f/Justin Timberlake: 42.670 (+1.532)
ONE DIRECTION Best Song Ever: 9.244 (-3.380)
Do you guys think 1D can take Miley's #2 spot? I mean they're at 30 million views and estimated 300k sales but most of the views are coming from outside the US and We Can't Stop gained 15 million views since tracking week started. 1D had consistent radio updates (over 1 million AI) but it seems like they're plummeting from today's update.
I think if Miley releases the director's cut at the beginning of tracking week next week and it's ~controversial~ enough to pull in monstrous views and BL loses its hype on radio then maybe we have a shot at #1
Do you seriously think that out of the 30 million views they have right now that 6 million of it is from the US??
It may be even lower than that. They're pretty global, so it wouldn't surprise me if they barely made 6 million.

First day U.S. streams for Vevo on Youtube were 825,000, according to Nielsen BDS. How those streams project over the course of the full week is difficult to predict, but if the first day plays are matched for the remainder of the tracking period, the seven-day total could be near 6 million - http://www.billboard.com/articles/ne...lboard-hot-100
