It's clear that with Born This Way, Gaga was trying out new things and expressing her creative energy more freely than in her previous eras. But with ARTPOP, I think it's safe to say that Gaga/Interscope will probably be focusing more on regaining the radio/digital/Hot 100 power that she once had, that has slightly diminished with the Born This Way era, and the only way to do this is to give the public what they want: sex and catchy hits - which I would say are the perfect words to describe Katy's Teenage Dream era. I come to this conclusion based off of the two ARTPOP promotional pictures that've been released so far. Gaga has been fully nude in these photos - showcasing both her toned thighs and a partial view of her perky breasts, along with her luscious, long brown locks and slightly powdered face. There's also been speculation and I believe confirmation from Gaga herself that this will be her 'fun' era, jampacked with catchy EDM songs, along with Gaga calling ARTPOP 'The Fame Monster's baby'.
Do you think she'll try and regain support from the heterosexual male community that she once had with The Fame? Will this be her pretty, sexy era? Will she go back to making catchy hits that radio and the public will eat up like before? Is this her Teenage Dream?
