Some members will claim they only 'stan' for artists that are massively successful/critically acclaimed and considered legends like The Rolling Stones, Björk, Cher, Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, and even Lady Gaga because they want their music taste to look superior than everyone else, when in reality they are usually just too embarassed to admit they listen to top 40 radio pop girls and hide behind these 'legendary' artists to seem like they have 'good taste' (ew).
