First and foremost, may I just say thank you to each and every one of you who has supported me and my music these past few years. 8Bit Heart and RA are two of my proudest achievements in my life thus far, and none of it would have taken off the way it did without every single person who listened to it, loved it, and shared it.
With that said, I have spent the past year and a half working on the biggest project of my life- a new music project that is a bit of a departure from my previous works. An evolution, in a major way. I don’t want to reveal too much in this open letter, as I truly want the surprise to have as much impact as possible, but just know that the music, the image, and the vision for this project are beyond anything I’ve released as Simon Curtis thus far, and that I truly believe that this project can and will have a profound effect upon pop music worldwide. I’m aware of how lofty and grandiose of a statement that is, and I don’t make it lightly.
What I’m asking for today is your help in the final step toward the launch of this project. We’re slated to shoot the video in about 3 weeks time, the director, the treatment, the locations, the equipment, crew, etc., everything is on lock, but we still have a bit of money to raise in order to meet our budget.
We need $5,000 to bring this video to life, and I’m asking you today to help me make it happen. We don’t have much time at all to raise this last bit of money, but I know that it can happen. Where there is a will, there is a way, and I have been willing this project to life for almost two years now. The finish line is in sight, and I am hoping that you will help me cross it.
I can’t wait to share all of the new music I’ve been working on so hard with you. This sounds nothing like the Simon Curtis you’re used to (and nothing like any older demos like “Meteor" that have recently surfaced 
Help me bring this vision to life. I promise to make it one of the most, if not the most exciting debut in pop this year. Anything, anything at all, would help more than you could possibly imagine.
I cannot wait for you guys to hear this.

BASICALLY he doesn't have enough money for the video which he wants to put out for his fans. He has a new sound thats not like his past albums or that generic mess that was metero.
His music is pretty good for an indie artist. Check him out if you like pop. AND HES GAY
