I don't think it is a wise idea to post all his songs to youtube. His album sales are not really great even without the album being free on youtube.

This is true. I've never understood why artists do it, it just makes the music easier to steal.

Streaming albums a week prior has actually helped a lot of albums sell more and pre-orders to rise. Probably won't really help Jay Sean, but in general it's not a bad move.

I don't think anything that can hurt his album sales. All or Nothing performed terribly even with a huge lead single and a follow up with minor success. Neon has neither and he has no buzz anymore so this can't do anything, but help him.

he streamed it because its already available in other countries... people are bound to get a copy of it "thru the web"... so its better if he somehow it looks like he was the one who "released" it on youtube XP

But then they would have released it everywhere at the same time. It's obviously part of their strategy to get some people interested in the album.

Different countries release on different days of the week which means that NEON may be releasing as early as Friday, July 26th and as late as Thursday, August 1st depending on where in the world you are. so i think it might also be the case.. maybe the record company is just telling him like this and like that... XP
