Discussion: Is Anything Could Happen a moderate hit in US

Ellie Goulding's flawfree masterpiece "Anything Could Happen" only peaked at #47 in US Billboard Hot 100. But it sold over 1 million downloads and seems to have great impact, as being covered on X-factor, Glee and used in various commercials. And i think it's one of the reasons why "Burn" is in top 10 ITunes now

So, in the end, "Anything Could Happen" is a hit or a flop?

I wasn't aware that it'd gone platinum. Yes, definitely a moderate hit no matter how you look at it. The fact that Ellie's not an established artist stateside makes its success all the more impressive.
