To be honest, I think that whole idea is a little dumb. I understand and appreciate the sentiment and I think it's great if someone wants to do that but at the same time, if you want to get married you should get married. I don't think any gay person would ever want to hold someone back from getting married. I don't know I don't really have a good argument haha I just find it a bit unnecessary.

People are standing up for equal rights -- it's admirable.
Kristen Bell stated that she wouldn't marry Dax Shepard in the state of California until gays could marry there as well because she wouldn't want her gay friends to have to attend her wedding when they can't get married themselves.
