Honest question that concerns all of us Will you be able to survive without GIFs? Would you LEAVE the site?
What if they find out the mass usage of GIFs is causing the majority of the globally impactful overcapacity in this "complex process" as they phrase it?
It won't do anything. GIFs are hosted on other websites, not ATRL, so if you get rid of them, the server will not change.
However, the smilies (At least, the .gif ones) are hosted here, I believe, so getting rid of them is the closets we'll get to banning GIFs.
