From Legends to Icons, Veterans to newbies, this write up will touch on everything that people are overlooking, reluctant to acknowledge and burying underground. This article is asking why, out loud, about every diva in our dissection of the industry. If you have bias and don't appreciate honesty in it's rawest form, any scrutiny your favorite artist receives in this post may not sit well with you. We warn those types in advance to let go of the attachment you have to the icons you idolize and prepare for an off-the-record type of read.
We're calling it how we see it in every category, however, there are some paradoxical observances we've made in different divisions we've broken everything down in. Overall, it seems that certain divas may have it harder than others, while the majority of them seem to have it much harder than men. Most successful male artists from Michael Jackson to Prince, Usher to Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown to Miguel to Frank Ocean appear to get a fairer shake when it comes to having a flourishing artistry and criticisms/pressures that come along with the territory.
