this is really dumb.. I can see myself just playing old virtual console games and handhelds next year.. I don't like how the gaming world is turning into.. not to defend Sony, but they're still delivering games without gimmicks

The controller thing is kind of cool, but it would require everyone to have a profile so they can be recognized.

Also the 360 is a PoS local multiplayer console anyways making the feature kinda useless. RIP split screen.

I fail to see how it's all about gimmicks. Microsoft have been extremely focused about the games with the One. Besides these features are just a plus and enhance the gameplay.

All these Sony stans better keep it cute. They would have just been as focused on their camera but they decided to remove it from bundling it with the console at the last minute.

I don't get gamers, they complain about how stale the industry is but when a developer wants to try something new they shoot it down immediately

this is hardly anything groundbreaking.. like wow it automatically changes the player's profile.. who really cares about that, if anything it says a lot about the market Microsoft usually target

even though I personally think it's one of the worst things that happened to gaming in recent years, the Wiimote, that was something new and innovative

the main reason the industry is stale now, ARE these gimmicks (and the fps craze)
what I want from the developers is to make the games themselves innovative, and drop the novalty features.. I don't need to wave to my screen to feel like I'm playing next gen games

Nope. Every Xbone will include a Kinect. It is not optional.

Hence why the Xbone has weaker hardware than the PS4, yet is still more expensive.
