Beyonce Performs on The Late Show with David Letterman

Beyonce just finished a small performance on The Late Show with David Letterman a few hours ago. Her voice was angelic and powerful and she left the crowd in tears. The performance was preceded by a 10 minutes interview.

How do you feel after releasing this first single today?
It feels amazing you know! It's like one of the days that you feel very very close to you fans you know... I've seen them following me all day long! I saw the same faces EVERYWHERE! But yeah other people also started to come but my biggest super fans kept on following me! I can still see a few here in the crowd! They were at the GMA performance then they were in front of my Hotel and then they were next to my Car and now they are here!

Now let's talk about the song: "Showtime" has an amazing beat and you have a great voice, it kind of reminds us of Crazy In Love or Single Ladies but remains special and different from them: What is your writing process?
Well I write a couple of lyrics and melodies on a small notebook i take everywhere. I get the idea and meaning of the song. While working on the album i sit down with the producers and other writers and look at the lyrics and we all just write a few lines and then we add them together. That's it!

Beyonce after a break came back on stage. She was wearing a white long dress and her hair was flying around her. She started singing an acoustic version of "Showtime". She performed 2 Minutes of the song standing with the microphone in her hand singing with an amazing voice with a few instruments playing in the background. After the 2 minutes, 8 dancers arrived on stage, all ladies. They were wearing black leotards with glitter tops. When they arrived The two at the front ripped off the white dress reveling a red corset/leotard. The instrumental started playing and Beyonce and her dancers danced without any singing and suddenly Beyonce started singing the first verses moving her hands all around while dancing. Her voice was amazing. When the song ended, the dancers were all around Beyonce but on the ground. Beyonce then thanked the public (who was screaming and in tears) before going off the stage.

On August 2nd - 4th Lollapalooza weekend will be taking place in chicago. In case you don't know, Lollapalooza is hugely attended festival and over 270,000 people attended in 2011. 3 of you will be able to have an artist perform at this festival. One on Friday, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. You have three opportunities to get a performance slot. For the Sunday slot (the least valuable), you will bid, like you would for an artist. For the Saturday slot, it depends on your minigame score. Whoever gets the highest score gets the slot. You can re-send your score as many times as you'd like and the scores must be sent in by 7/28. The Friday spot (most valuable), will be picked by random on random.org. This will do you wonders and help your chart positions.

Justin Bieber dropped by ClearChannel Radio Towers today in an effort to support his debut single, "(You Got Me) Jumbled Up". The song was on Pop/Rhythmic stations and with this interview debuted on Urban/Hot AC/ and even Urban AC supported a little. The song also in addition was on a deal today, and played HOURLY on EVERY ClearChannel Rhythmic and Hot AC station. Justin sat down, and expressed his feelings on the single and it's support and success especially on radio.

The single currently ranks #1 on iTunes Worldwide, (for the basic hoes #1 in U.S.) and is lined up to be the Top Male Debut on the chart. The single also is going to debut Top 40 on Radio with this deal, and Top 20 on Rhythmic and Hot AC.

Arguably the biggest Teen Male Pop Star, and biggest Teen Female Pop Star were seen together today. They are from 2 highly successful music labels, and were seen talking and walking together. In addition to that, they were seen in the studio. Perhaps a duet or feature track is coming from them? They seemed REALLY close today seemed insiders, and these were after old rumors of them dating. We have no idea if the Teen Stars are just friends, or further. But everyone sees something between them when they're together.
