For the most part, yes, definitely.
Evanescence were #1 for 8 days in a row last year with CMWYS, however, and Vanessa Carlton has had success with her first two videos in 2002.

And hell, since Colbie is already on the countdown, there's a not-so-wishful #1 for me. I kinda like her song.

Wow. The countdown has seemingly risen from the pits of hell into the plains of not so bad. Paramore = happiness. Fall Out Boy = really really happy. Colbie Calliat = vomit. but...better than before i left for my trip.
