'Fight Club' sequel announced
Quote:
At the risk of breaking the rule, we're gonna have to talk a little bit about "Fight Club" today because author Chuck Palahniuk has announced that there'll be a sequel ... in graphic novel form.
Yep, Palahniuk hit up San Diego's Comic-Con over the weekend to pimp and sign his latest book and chat about other nerdy things, and in the process he dropped a little hint that he'd soon be releasing a sequel to the brutal, chaotic and seriously mentally twisted story of his.
Natch, this caught the attention of the Tyler Durden faithful, so Palahniuk has now offered up some clearer terms to his little cult fansite ChuckPalahniuk.net. "About the graphic novel, it's true," he wrote to his fellowship, explaining that he's working out the kinks of the process with the aid of some graphic novel biz alums.
"It will likely be a series of books that update the story ten years after the seeming end of Tyler Durden," he then explained. "Nowadays, Tyler is telling the story, lurking inside Jack, and ready to launch a come-back. Jack is oblivious. Marla is bored. Their marriage has run aground on the rocky coastline of middle-aged suburban boredom. It's only when their little boy disappears, kidnapped by Tyler, that Jack is dragged back into the world of Mayhem."
