I agree with you! I've lived in countries with over 40 degrees Celsius too, but I can't survive a day in The Netherlands with 30 degrees

86 degrees Fahrenheit might seem not like a big deal, but it's the humidity that does most of the work. Also, in Northern Europe (England, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Scandinavia etc.) we aren't really used to really hot summers so a lot of folks are unprepared. Luckily we have airconditioning at home but many people don't because it's unneeded throughout most of the year.

Praying for all of you in the UK, I know 86F doesn't seem like much; especially since where I live it's usually 110F+ but it's a dry heat and not as bad as humidity and excessive heat.

It has gotten up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit like years ago when I was younger so I am not crying like that. I just hope it cools down.

We're from entirely different parts of the world. Our bodies react to our environments in different ways, our architecture and our public facilities reflect our natural climate. The things those in other countries take for granted- swimming pools everywhere, complex air conditioning systems, thinly-built houses- yeah, we don't have that. Biology dictates that the human body becomes accustomed to the prevailing climate that surrounds it.

Don't come running into threads thinking you know what life is like where you ain't from.

That being said, I love this weather and I hope it stays. They said it's gonna be thunderstorms this week and that is NOT the tea.

Outside it is fine, but Indoors is just too much. Especially with no air conditioning. And my ****ing house traps heat like no other, this bitch, i swear i almost died too the other night

I don't live in the UK, but it's just as hot here in Germany. My room is directly under our roof and I've been sleeping downstairs for three days now since it's too hot in my room

Yes, for other parts of the world that might not be hot. However for the UK, it is extremely hot because we're not used to those kind of temperatures.
