There has been talk about writing the first few episodes around old footage of Cory from the show and actually have Finn be alive for a bit in order to lead into a more emotional goodbye — so it doesn’t feel sudden. The producers are weighing what the cast and his family think of the idea, and of course Lea Michele, to see if it’s at all plausible to attempt. Regardless, they want to do any angle with dignity.
It's like they're trying to milk his death as much as possible for the ratings with all these unnecessary Glee talk 24/7.
I agree with you. I used to like Glee, I think the show must end, I know Cory wasn't Glee, it is about a lot of characters, but he was an important piece of the show. Without him it simply will not be the same.
Finn and Rachel were basically the show. That's why the 1st two seasons were okay. What are they going to do without him? Also I like the idea of keeping him alive the longest possible, he will just be remember longer.
I really feel mixed about this tbh. I mean, on one hand I really like the idea of not letting him die again so quickly, but on the other this could end up really messy and become their biggest disaster ever if they don't handle it PERFECTLY.

I don't see how you can make this a "Milking his death"
When he obviously wanted to be part of this season.
I'm kinda leaning towards this.
Regardless of what anyone says, Glee is a television show and it has a story. People would slam them if they just cut him out of the show and moved on like Finn just poofed, people would slam them if they used old footage, people would slam them if they had a freak accident sort of death. I haven't watched the entire last season, but you gotta give them a break somewhere. A death of a key cast member is never an easy situation, and they want to make the best possible decision.
