Tyler Perry's "Why Did I Get Married?" was #1 in the North American Box Office with a total of 21.5 million. This #1 entry has shocked many in the industry, only predicting at max 10 million dollars.
I saw the Sacramento interview with Tyler and Janet, and the interviewer brought up the Superbowl. I am sorry to say but it is true....the American media likes to put the blame totally on Janet once again and it was in 2004! Then you wonder why she is not played on the radio or 20 YO did not get the airplay. I don't remember Justin Timberlake getting this treatment. I am just sick of it. Janet did not have to do what she did with Justin. Sometimes I wish she just ended at the Rhythm Nation part and left the stage.
But, anyway....congrats to Janet, Jill Scott, and Tyler!
