Fave Ever.
Oh, and I never really hated Xtina, and never found her a rival to Britney or viceversa, actually before I came here again [see story above] I bought Xtina's album and it was the only one I had. I even own the I Turn To You CD Single. Jessica always liked her, and Mandy as well, I guess that if you liked one of them you liked them all

Well here's the story of how I found my favorite artist (I hope you know by now who it is)...
So back a couple years ago, there were so many bands I liked equally that I really never had a favorite. My story of how I discovered Paramore is interesting. I was on a plane flight to Florida for my family vacation on a Jet Blue flight which has TV's. I was surfing the channels for something interesting and I found this channel called FUSE (which makes 2 things discovered on the same day). Anyway, they had a music video block going and I was thinking to myself about how much better this channel is than MTV. After a while I started falling asleep because it was such an early flight. When I woke up about 30 minutes later, the first song I heard was Paramore's song "Pressure" and I thought to myself "Wow this song is great," then I made a note to download it as soon as I got back home a couple weeks later. So then I went on a download frenzy with Paramore tracks and realized that I love almost all of these songs (from the first album). Then soon they became my favorite band and thats my story.

well, I have been a huge fan of MJ, Mariah and Madonna in the past -and still. But Britney has always been my all time LOVE.
I'll share my stanitic story:
So It was the first time I saw her 'Baby One More Time' video, I was like 10 years old and I used to watch that Top 10 show that was similiar to the british Top of the Pop. And one day, there was that number one video by an aritst called Britney Spears ,I was like and the whole world stopped for seconds. There was something that is extremely attractive about her ,the music, the video that I knew it was my destiny to fall in love with this girl forever. And then they showed the credits at the end of the show and didn't show the name of the aritst/song. I was like hell no, please tell me who sings that damn song! So I was living in torture for a week, trying to figure out the name of that artist. Yeah, life was pretty hard before the greatest invention aka Internet. So here comes the next week, I had my VCR on, waiting for them to bring the countdown and catch the name of song. And suddenly, the whole world had stopped, AGIAN for me. Guess what! THEY SHOWED THE VIDEO AND I RECORDED THE WHOLE THING ZOMFG. I was literally jumping on the couch and started to play/rewind it endlessly. So i went to the store the next day and bought the cassette. It was a highlight in my life. I was just amazed by everything about this woman ever since that day. Being a Britney fan has never been boring. She made tons of days for me. She brought countless of smiles to my face. I will always be appreciative and eternal supporter to her. Bitch owns my soul.

I'm supposed to remember this ****?
The longest friend I've known in my life, introduced me to Korn, 7 years ago, and I became an instant fan after hearing their first two albums, and soon after, Follow the Leader and Issues, which had music videos I would see on TRL all the time. I don't have an exact day, but I became a Korn fan in 2000.

Like Korn, I dont have an exact day.
My All-Time favorite:
When I was in 4th grade, I was in the chorus and we sang only The Beatles' songs for our concert. I soon then liked many of their songs. In fact, on one trip to Arizona with my family, the only thing I listened to was Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Band (the album). I still like some of their songs to this day, 2 of them being in my 4 All-Time favorite songs.
My All-Time favorite that still makes music:
I first really got into music in Summer 05, when I started watching VH1. I didn't really know many older songs (besides The Beatles' songs). In like Fall 05 I first discovered Photograph by Nickelback which I thought was good, so I knew who they were. But in Spring 06, I discovered one of my 4 favorite songs of All-Time, Savin' Me, when I first saw it on VH1. Eventually, it became the longest-running song on my playlist (5 months, which was tied by Lifehouse's First Time), and all that time, it was my favorite song. I only took it off because I didn't want to have it on forever. And Nickelback have very good songs besides Savin' Me. Soon after I discovered Photograph, I discovered How You Remind Me, Someday, & Why Don't You & I (Santana featuring Chad Kroeger). All of those were on my playlist. And If Everyone Cared & Rockstar are 2 of my 20 favorite songs of ther year. Also, Into The Night (again, Santana featuring Chad Kroeger) is one of my favorite songs right now.

I stumbled upon Bonnie McKee on Yahoo!, her video had just premiered that day and I liked her unique look. Th song was great and went to buy her CD the next day. I could only find her CD-Single, so I bought that. Then I bought her album the day after. All the songs were pure brilliance and I've loved her ever since.
I had first heard of Paramore when a friend of mine went to Warped Tour in 2005 and told me about them. I looked them up and d/led a song. Then the "Pressure" video came out and I LOVED IT. I bought their album and have loved them ever since.
I first saw Keyshia Cole on 106 & Park I think, they were premiering "I Changed My Mind."
I didn't LOVE Xtina until I bought Stripped, which was just amazing and perfect. But I think I first saw her in 1999 on like TRL. I think it was when they premiered "Genie In A Bottle".

Thats how i am now because i like all of them but back in the day I was completely biased. First I liked Christina and HATED Britney just because. Then i liked Mandy and hated both Christina & Britney because they were bigger etc. I didnt even notice Jessica til Newlyweds and she's been my favorite the longest up until now :-/

Paramore- I discovered them 2006 and liked a few songs. Then it took a few months for me to really get into them and love like most of their songs.
Tegan and Sara- I discovered them from an English teacher in my Saturday class, but it took a month or two for me to get into them. Then I saw a concert of theirs (Oct 8, 07) and now I love them even more.
As you can see, it takes a while for me to really love a band and have them as my favourites.

When I first saw the "Behind These Hazel Eyes" video, on 06.24.05!
I remember it was the 1st day taht MTV Hits started airing on Brazil. The first video I saw was Britney Spears' "Toxic", then Backstreet Boys' "Incomplete" and then BTHE aired (coincidentally all three were directed by Jospeh Kahn ) . I almost passed out when I saw the video, and I waited until 4 AM til the video aired again (LMAO I'm so stupid)
Since then, Kelly is favorite artist, and BTHE is my favorite song and video ever
