Britney Spears was spotted out shopping last night, with paparazzi claiming that she even asked them to buy her a copy of Justin Timberlake’s latest CD.

In recent gossip surrounding the troubled pop star, it’s been reported that Brit called up ex-husband Kevin Federline and threatened to commit suicide over their latest custody battle developments.

While Britney said Gimme More visitation, the judge only granted her one day a week with her sons, and she was supposedly so upset that she dialed up K-Fed’s digits to complain as she drove down Los Angeles’ Mulholland Drive.

According to News Of The World sources, an irate Britney screamed at him, “I’m going to drive off the cliff! It’s going to be your fault that I killed myself.”

Another insider said of the incident, “Britney blows hot and cold. No one knows what’s going through her mind - especially her.”

because the media and tabloids have been making up fake and false lies to sell magazines or to get hits on their website. Look @ the latest copy of OK! Magazine. It says "She Doesn't Want Her Kids Back". So for me it's like okay so she gets her a valid California license, stopped using whatever she was passing drug tests, going to her parental coach, and fighting for more custody time, but she doesn't want them back?

Face it the media will lie to sell anything, I won't be surprised if this, which has no link or source posted with it, is on a magazine next week. Headline: "Britney Wants To Kill Herself".

The media like to play on anything that seems likely. Like because Britney dressed revealing, they'd say she's a **** and sleeping around with everybody and if she loses her kids, they'll be like "She has nothing to live for, she'll kill herself"
