I'm not following, because honestly, that's exactly what would happen. The airplay week ends two days after the sales week does, so that first bit of airplay would account for the week before sales would be included.
It's what happened with Womanizer and My Life Would Suck Without You, I am certain.

Death, I had it the other way around. Thank you, sleep deprivation.
I meant they should release it on iTunes (Monday) before sending it to radio (Wednesday or Thursday?) with a radio deal that will also prevent stations from spinning it before the "radio debut date" to avoid the rolling effect and get the maximum AI possible to have the synergy between airplay, streaming, and digital sales.

Clock them.
It was only 16K shy of 400K, which is still huge. People assume just because a song sells less than it did last week, that it's on its way to a free-fall but for Blurred Lines, it's going to continue stabilizing at 350K+ for a few weeks, then 300K+ for a few weeks, then 250K+, then 200K+, etc. so it looks like it's still going to have a long life.
