I love the raw and beautifully simplistic imagery, especially compared to the stylized spectacle of the early days of EH, but it could've been edited much better to give it a sense of progression. The slow shots build up towards nothing and it makes a great song feel longer than it really is.
It's so beautiful, I prefer her more natural, raw videos like P&C, Lies, F&L, maybe even Radioactive to her more 'entertaining' videos like Primadonna, HTBAH etc.
Her voice and lyrics are strong enough imo.
That said, this era was so good already, it can only get better I guess.
Such a stunning video. I think this is her most visually aesthetic pleasing video to date. It looks so crisp and clean, the colour pallet is stunning and gets the emotion of the song right across. Really wow'd by this.
I like it! The YT still looks epic as hell. I really enjoyed the bit in the rain/snow/hail and also with the scenery of from the tall place where she was. The little forest bit was cool too.
I will say though that the beginning was a little overdrawn. 15 seconds of her staring at the ground, it's like she was distracted by something and then looked up like OH YEAH I kinda need to do a music video! And it would have been cool if the "you only ever touch me in the dark" ended with the curtains all closing. Or something.
