Gaga is coming out with ARTPOP in November and a new song next month (August). Katy Perry is confirmed for an iHeart Radio performance in September, so she will have a new song by the. The question is, who's album will do better. Gaga or Katy? Guess below.
Katy's coming off such a massive era. It's hard to tell.
I think it'll go like this. Gaga will have the front-loaded sales but drop shortly after where-as Katy will have the singles to keep her album going longer.
And before her stans reply saying I'm pressed, noone really knows Gaga's selling power and longevity right now so it's probably best not to overhype or overrate her as there could be an embarrassing reality check in the end. Songs like TEA, Burqua, etc aren't going to sell the album because people won't get what TEA is, and Burqua is polarizing and offensive to some.
It's very hard. Gaga's last album sold 7m and Katy sold 6m. They are pretty much in the same level (except for touring). And Katy singles basically are only hits in the US. It's very hard to tell... Gaga will have to come hard tho, even my mother asked me where she was last week, lol
Queen Gaga she will have album sales and touring on her side for sure! And if she played her cards right (im sure she did) everything else like single sales, radio support, etc will fall right into place
