I only brought it up because it was the most recent thread I could think of where people on here tried so hard to undermine Jennifer while being unbelievably delusional, not because of some dislike for Christina. Also, winning all those awards doesn't contradict that J.Lo was a bigger name than her in the early 2000s. Bennifer alone eclipsed anything Christina did.

Christina was never bigger than J.Lo internationally. At her peak, she covered every part of the world except for East Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. And why "even" Latin America? Jennifer is an American celebrity and Christina was bigger in Spanish-speaking countries in 2000-01 because of the big success of Mi Reflejo.

The difference isn't big and the reason is the success of Feel this Moment and Moves Like Jagger. Aside from the On the Floor, Jennifer hasn't had major success since 2003 and that's long before iTunes was popular. This has nothing to do with the thread I'm talking about btw.
