The way they test for drugs is just crazy. Urine testing can detect marijuana, a relatively harmless drug, for up to 30 days or longer depending on how often someone uses it. But much more dangerous and addictive drugs like heroin and meth can be gone within days. If you're someone who is regularly tested for drugs, the incentive is there to do the more dangerous drugs so you won't get caught.
That being said, I have no idea whether he was being drug tested or not.
