Like, honestly, it just doesn't cut it for me. I was listening to The Fame Monster today and it came on and I couldn't be bothered getting up to change it at the docking station so I kept it on and it's just missing spark, I personally find it boring.

I think the pace is good. I don't want a song like that on ARTPOP but I wouldn't mind a song with that kind of pace and dazed feeling on the album. Just not with that kind of production.
Everytime I think about new music I get really nervous only because I have no idea what to expect.

Yep and eventually some people just have to move on and accept the fact that you just wont always like everything your favorite artist puts out.
