I feel like this could be the their make or break season and I don't want to sound like an insensitive person but if they capitalize correctly on Cory's death and media coverage, then there could be a Glee resurgence as long as they give their best to make better scripts and get better song choices to cover. There could be a tribute for him, I think. I would love an original from Lea.
Since they're obligated to do two more seasons, I think they'll allow Glee to continue for that long and after that, I think it'll be cancelled. They will probably do an honorary episode and then focus the newer episodes on the new cast members and ditch the old ones for the final season.
This article is innacurate with some of it's information.
His last recording on the show was Don't Stop Believin' (backing for Lea's lead) and his last scene with Lea was the Don't Stop Believin' dream sequence in her Funny Girl audition.
Just write his character off the show in a realistic way. Its a bit tacky to use his death for story line purposes or even to teach a lesson, he wasn't his character, and its a bit vulgar for the writers to pretend that he was.
According to this article, Fox may delay the fifth season's premiere episode until November.
Recasting Finn is a horrible idea, btw. They'd never find someone who could do Cory justice, and imagine how Lea would feel having to film romantic scenes alongside some guy pretending to be the character portrayed by her late fiancé. Just thinking about it is making me cringe.
I read somewhere on Youtube,, and I thought that it was a wonderful idea, that they could say that Finn died rescuing innocent people, that would be a tribute to him and a catch with the whole thing about him not going to the Army
i think they should either delay the show then do a tribute to him when they start up, they should definately just remove his character without killing him off or having a funeral etc. coz that'd be really tacky and just innapropriate as the cast will of had to deal with the real thing and would be kinda disrespectful. im thinking maybe have a part which is just out of character of the cast talking about him and like a montage of him on the show and behind the scene type things showing him all happy and just leave it at that, i dont normally watch the show anymore but i will be watching to see what they do because im curious
