Because it's a place away from the norm for me. Lurking around listening to Britney fans fight against Non Britney fans is always a good way to pass the time. In addition to that I get updated on everything happening in the music world and I can share my opinions about them.

To answer your question, I like ATRL because so many things here. This is where I learn alot of my music news. I can check out how countdowns from around the world are going. I've learned about many great artists on the site that I probably would have never heard of if I hadn't been here. Since not everyone likes that same genre of music, you learn about all types of music and what's is new with them.
