Sony has released a new 'Making of' video for Quantic Dreams' Beyond: Two Souls.
Writer and director David Cage talks about the immense scope of the project and the influences behind it, which actors including Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe discuss the challenges of playing video game characters.
Beyond: Two Souls is Quantic Dream's follow-up to fellow PS3 exclusive Heavy Rain.
Touted as a psychological action thriller, the game spans 15 years in the life of protagonist Jodie Holmes (played by Ellen Page), who was born with a connection to a mysterious entity with incredible powers.
Willem Dafoe stars in a supporting role as scientist Nathan Dawkins, an enigmatic character working for a government division studying paranormal activities.
Sony has confirmed a Beyond: Two Souls release date of October 8 in US and October 11 in UK, coming exclusively to PS3.
I'm SO excited to see Ellen Page she's one of my favorite actresses. And of course Quantic Dream's incredible visuals. I hope the gameplay is more natural feeling than Heavy Rain.
The Last of Us, Beyond: Two Souls, and GTA V = this year's gaming trinity
This looks fantastic. I loved Heavy Rain, and I'm excited to see big name companies releasing AAA-titles that really push the interactive technology of gaming to new frontiers with regard to narrative and immersion.
