Disgusting. There's peaceful protest. And then there's any damn excuse to loot and cause havoc. And there is simply no excuse for the latter in this case.
And im not black so this may come off as insensitive, but after a case and trial that highlighted the prejudice and stereotypes that still haunt African Americans, looting and violence in protest is like amplifying every disgusting stereotype.

I would have expected there to be riots in Miami but mess at it being LA again The 90s really are back. Hope nobody gets hurt and this doesn't spread/gets under control fast When this sort of thing happens the community of the looters are always the biggest losers as people ravage their own neighbourhoods in a mindless herd mentality. And it's always straight men too

True, but stunts like this are broadcast throughout the media. Images of thousands of black men looting, pillaging, shouting, etc just reinforces certain things.
And not unlike Tea Party image in mass media as racist old farts. So pendulum does swing both ways. Key part is media imo
