Cackling. Both Madonna and Janet flopped in their first few years. AND they both showed signs of wear and tear well before their 10th anniversary. Britney's career is obviously not as long, but Femme Fatale was released when Britney was 30: the age Madonna became relevant. And for what it's worth, Britney outsold Janets discography (total records sold) by the time "3" dropped. Theres a reason Ms. Spears is 3 places above Ms. Jackson with half the lengthy career on the RIAA top female album sellers chart.
By the time Britney is Janets current age, she will have been in the industry for 31 years. By the time she is Madonnas current age, it will be near her 4th decade. And unlike the two of them, she has been relevant from the beginning of that career.
Anyways, I love both. But your post was an invitation to correct.
