This is not related to what side of the mind you use the most, but you can do the same with this ferry wheel.
You can make it turn clockwise or counter-clockwise

Both the dancer and the ferris wheel are clockwise, thought I can change the dancer if I try.
Although it's funny, I saw this thing a few days ago and I could only see it going anti-clockwise. Maybe it's because I saw it on a political blog, so presumably I was in the middle of using the left side of my brain for logic thought, while here it doesn't matter. I don't know if it works that way thought.

The dancer one looks as if at first she goes clockwise and then PURPOSELY switches to counter clockwise, as if someone altered it that way. From what I see she even switches legs. Hmm...

Dancer: I see clockwise but then when I look at the mirrored image at the bottom of the picture it turns counter clockwise.
