Can't believe this 41mp phone is lighter than my current phone, lol. I also have the 920 in white . There are cases to even out that lump on the back of the 1020. I really like it - although I would put a case on it.
It has been confirmed that the owners of the 92x phones are getting an update to the same camera app as the 1020 (Nokia Pro Shot) and obviously, the time on the standby screen also arrives with the same update. Yayyy!
One of the problems that android and windows phone have had with their App Stores is developers lazily launching big apps on either (or sometimes both) platforms and then not fixing it for a long ass time until a blogger speaks up about it or they get enough comments. This happened with Vine (Twitter didn't even bother putting front facing camera support in the first releases) and Instagram 4.0. Then you just have the apps that don't have a major function not work or the app as a whole is unusable for a long ass time. Even Android as big as it is still has developers who don't care enough to make a good experience for all its platforms.
It's plain laziness.
A lot of Android developers are just Java developers, with a side hobby, since it uses the same programming language. Same with Windows, except the language is C# or HTML 5. Neither of these types take into consideration the minor details of making a mobile app (like making multiple images for different screen types.) There are very few "serious" app developers for Android.
