"Angel of Mine" appreciation thread
Monica delivers in this cover of "Angel of Mine," her 3rd #1 from her album 'The Boy Is Mine.'
The song was a commercial success and one of her biggest hits to date. Praise this masterpiece

Yeah, it was originally sung by Eternal, but I think they released it around the same time. Monica's version is the one everyone knows.

Yep! here's the original. It was released overseas about 1 year prior to Monica releasing the cover.

Yeah, they changed up some of the words for Monica's version. Maybe I'm more used to the Monica's version, but Eternal's version is soooooooo boring.
