Sorry but no. If people like you want to say that BTW was such a flop, how did it manage to influence the general public's overall feel about pop music? And futhermore, if you think that one person can make most people in an entire country dislike music of a certain genre, you're a ****ing idiot.

Gaga a little bit more. And for the casual listener, yeah, Gaga did kind of lose them after The Edge of Glory. So what? Casual listeners are easily won over.
p.s. Adele didn't save anything either, honey. She brought an interesting flux with her album and with the release of other alternative artists, we've begun to see diversity but that's about it.
And for those who say that Gaga started the dance-pop trend (or helped start it) and it was cool for a minute and then became dull. Well, Gaga moved on from the dance-pop trend did she not? She released BTW. Not her fault everybody else was still stuck on what she'd already done.
