Azealia Banks rants on animal rights, racism and Zimmerman.

It is in traditional American culture to go into the woods and hunt bears, deer, wolves etc, FOR SPORT AND RECREATION… What is the difference between that and fighting dogs for entertainment? NONE.
We do with the other animals in the food chain as we please, and not ONE (other than HUMAN) should be specially protected by ANY sort of laws if we are not going to extend those same rights to ALL ANIMALS BELOW US IN THE KINGDOM.
Now in regards to this Zimmerman verdict, It is SICK to think that some innocent HUMAN life was taken and the man who committed the crime gets to walk away freely, while people are actually JAILED for “crimes" against animals.
It is sick to think that tax “crimes" can carry heavier sentences than violent crimes. currency is imaginary. Money doesn’t actually exist… It’s just some made-up way for people to define their “worth" and status among the rest of society.
Don’t forget.. WE ARE STILL PART OF THE ANIMAL KINGDOM. Things we should be able to do naturally and freely as our type of animal (like eat, drink water, and clothe ourselves) are interrupted and made exclusive by way of MONEY….
money and taxes you and i pay that are ALSO probably going to afford Zimmerman a comfortable new existence as a part of some sort of protection program.
I’m sure this is really hard to follow as there are probably tons of grammatical errors and run-on sentences but something’s got to Change. How many “cops" and the like are going to be able to abuse their “power" like this??? Sean Bell, Amadou Diallo, Trayvon Martin…..
Furthermore, (and I may be wrong) I never hear about some little white kid /white man getting “accidentally" murdered by the police…. It all just seems to be some sort of conspiracy. These highly publicized black man/white cop murder trials always seem to end in the white cop being freed With little to no regards to the victim or the victims family
As a young black American i have to say that this seems to be some sort of evil extension of Willie lynch and Jim Crow and all that other ****…( You know, the conspiracy to keep black people discouraged and feeling as if their lives/livelihood are not as important/valuable as those of a white man/woman).
I REALLY hope you are following me here. I am not claiming to be a political essayist. I’m not here to have my frustrations and opinions dissected by some stuck up academic or another. I’m just so ****ing irate. Something has GOT to give.

i get shes mad... im disappointed as well but they're all crimes. her argument has good points accept that she's trying to back up people who kill animals for sport. I mean... humans also used to kill hermaphrodites because they thought they were demons. that was custom. should we continue that? 
azealia imma keep stanning you but just know you're the biggest tool on the planet.

This is incorrect. Humans are the apex predators for bears, deer, and wolves, and those species need to be hunted or else they'd overpopulate, eliminate the rest of the life below them in an ecosystem, and then die off because they have no food. If humans don't hunt, entire species would die out. A lot of this is because humans have already ****ed up ecosystems, but we have to do what we have to do to keep them in check.

She's not backing them up, she's saying its wrong to treat the death of a dog as more important than the death of a pig.

She asks the difference between hunting and dog fighting? At least we kill the damn animals with a bullet rather than torturing them for months to get ready for fights and then letting them ravage at each other.
I've basically had to learn to just ignore what she says and enjoy her music.

I don't disagree with her.
Her defense of animal slaughter/dog fighting is a bit much, but I mostly agree with her final argument. The murder of a black boy results in zero legal consequences, while having dog fights results in immediate incarceration. The two are difficult to compare due to the difference in scale of the given crime, but it reveals an underlying double-standard that says a lot about how black people are treated in America to this day.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong? I'm seeing it as her talking about race by comparing Vick's crime/sentence to Zimmerman's (which is obviously a good point) but also in the process clarifying her stance on animal rights. Which is just as wrong as murdering a human.

This makes her sound stupid. Hunting is absolutely necessary for deer population control, not just
as a sport. I agree with her on the Treyvon case, but under no circumstance is dog fighting okay.

The rant is pretty logical aside from the animal rights part, we can't have those animals overpopulating. (sidenote: I'd totally live in fear if deer became a more populated species after I nearly died to one TWICE. )
