I can't believe she performed this live after all these years. I was content with this being used as a concert interlude but the whole song live?!
It's so surreal and I'm still wondering if I actually just watched this or if I'm imagining it. That's how surreal it is
I mean its so random, especially at an event like this but maybe it's a sign? She shocked us all by breaking her strictly urban/R£B formula by doing a "rock"/soul song with #Beautiful, so I hope this means she's going back to basics and doing pure pop ballads like this and has like a Stay or Someone Like You like song on the next album
And I think she definitely got choked up at least. Maybe that's why it's never been performed till now, too painful and emotional to sing live
