No. Those Box Office grosses are fairly pedestrian for animated films nowadays. PATF was kind of a flop, and WTP....... well is WTP.

Tangled and WIR were good and did well enough at the box office, but two successful films doesn't make a renaissance.

I remember my mum taking me to all of those films, often more than once. They were absolutely brilliant, both in terms of quality and commerical success. As a kid, you were basically socially exclueded if you hadnt seen those films.

No. The renaissance was chiefly due to the quality and the classic nature of the films produced, and none of Disney's recent efforts are up to par with the works of the 90's.
