It's mostly the other Miley stans that shriek at the sight of red updates. The song is pretty global in my opinion. It's a hit in Australia, US, Malaysia, Philippines, South Africa, Canada, Norway, and New Zealand while also being a minor hit in Denmark, Ireland, Sweden and still has room to grow in Germany. The only place this isn't doing well is Europe where she's hopefully going to start promoting in a few days/weeks so.
I actually like the fact that WCS is slowly climbing in radio. Although the overall AI is in favor of Robin because BL is being played on 8 different formats while WCS is only being played on 3 and it's gradually picking up. But at least BL isn't getting massive updates on pop anymore 
and maybe kinda sorta dying down *knocks on wood* 
She should tour there.... And NOT just in South Africa
