This would be a wonderful idea. But I know it will never happen. The average demographic for superhero films (teen to young adult straight males) would NOT have it. There would be boycotts for sure and it would never get approved in a million years. Thank you Andy for letting us dream though.

Do Marvel and Disney even get a say? Sony owns part of the Spider-man character and have exclusive rights to make movies for him - it's the reason why Spider-man will never be returned to Marvel.

Yeah you know I thought they'd try out a gay romance thing with a lesser known superhero but like in 2016 or 2018. Spider-Man is marvel's second biggest superhero right now imo (behind iron man) so this would be a huge deal
