But also don't forget that Robin Thicke didn't invented that style and that musical inspiration doesn't comes from one day, but starts with most artists the moment they first hear a sound.
We are talking about two white males who both dived at different degrees in pop, R&B, soul and even a tad of hiphop. If JT copied Robin Thicke, than Robin Thicke copied JT in Sex Therpay since some of the music in that era could also eaisly have appeared on FSLS
Nothing is original and people should stop pointing the finger at stars since it will keep being in a circle. That means no black male could do a clip for a hiphop song with sexy ladies and gold jewerly, since that has been done already by others during the years.
If JT would have released the TV video for a song off FSLS nobody would have complained, but just because another white male singer who happens to also use influences from pop, soul and R&B, who also had a clip with naked ladies, it is something that means "try hard" or "copying".
I like both Robin and JT, but it feels stupid that people, even an ED from Billboard drag someone, just because of the sake for having something to brag about.
