Noone said social media isn't a good thing and that having more followers is a bad thing but it's not relevant to anything that actually matters. There are far more people with less than 100,000 followers that are more influential than someone with a big social media presence.

It's the problem with stans these days. They worry over the most ridiculous things that don't matter to anyone outside of stanbases, which is about less than 0.01% of the entire worlds population. These lists aren't created to prove anything important, but stans cling to them out of desperation to make their favs seem more important than they really are.
