This really makes no sense, but I actually agree. I get more pissed off when straight females say it than straight dudes. I've had tons of straight bro acquaintances (none of my close friends say it) that say it, then look at me and apologize
, if I know their intentions aren't to be hurtful I'm not going to freak out. Obviously I prefer the word not to be used but I'm not going to give someone a lesson in political correctness at a get-together or party or whatever.
